Our chopping boards are handcrafted from high-quality, food-safe hardwoods selected for their durability, character and natural beauty.
Each board is conditioned with a combination of food-grade mineral oil and beeswax to nourish the wood and provide a protective finish. With a little regular care, your board can stay beautiful for years to come.
1. Keep It Conditioned
Use food-grade mineral oil or a combination of mineral oil and beeswax to keep the wood conditioned and prevent it from drying out.
NEVER use olive, vegetable or corn oil, as these oils can become rancid over time.
We recommend conditioning your board approximately once a month, especially with end-grain boards, or whenever the wood begins to look or feel dry. Your board may need a little extra attention during the dry winter months.
B&M Tip: If the wood starts looking pale or dull, it’s probably thirsty. Give it some love!
2. Keep It Clean & Dry
After each use, wash your board with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge or cloth.
Avoid steel brushes and abrasive scrubbers, which can damage the wood. Dry thoroughly with a towel and allow the board to air dry completely before storing.
Never soak your board or put it in the dishwasher.
3. Let It Breathe
Be mindful of moisture collecting underneath your board when it’s left flat on the countertop.
When not in use, prop one end up slightly or store the board on its side to allow air to circulate around all surfaces. This helps prevent trapped moisture and reduces the risk of the wood warping over time.
B&M Tip: Your board likes to breathe. Don’t leave it sitting damp against the countertop.
Made to Be Used. Made to Last.
A handcrafted wooden board will naturally develop character with use. Look after it, use it often and let it become part of your kitchen's story.
Because heirlooms aren’t hidden away.

Well... she’s a pretty cool kiddo.
When Madison isn’t busy with All Star Cheerleading, she helps out in the workshop alongside her dad. She knows her passion comes with plenty of travel and expenses, so she’s proud to put in the work and help contribute toward doing what she loves.
A little cheer, a little sawdust, and a lot of hard work.
